carbuzz.info - The CX-7 was firstly released back in 2006. The car was quite controversial – the design was fresh and neat, but turbocharged I4 engines don’t fit mid-size crossover, and the quality wasn’t spectacular either. The car was replaced by CX-5 in 2012, which was better engineered. Nevertheless, with the introduction of CX-3 (Asian markets only) and a new CX-9, Mazda desperately need to complete their model line by something bigger than CX-5 but smaller than CX-9. There are plenty of rumors regarding next 2018 Mazda CX-7, but still no official confirmations.
